Secret underground Temple Complex of Zoion (WIP) [Old Kromkarie]
Introduction
Approximately 2000 years ago the ancient cultist carved out an underground complex to worship Zoion in secret. As the Cult expanded so did the temple, starting as a simple crypt like complex. The temple was eventually built into massive carved out caverns with places of worship, statues and entire underground cities for its millions of followers throughout the next 1000 years. These temples were seeled behind 1 entrance, a door that has evolved throughout the ages from large stone blocks too modern steel. Using this as a stronghold the cultist eventually captured the surface area round them condemning millions to death. Once they had consolidated their power, they formed Kromkarie. In an attempt to keep the cult a secret renamed it to the 'Order of One'. This would be the unofficial name for the cult so they could begin their new order.

The entrance is sealed behind a large steel door powered by a steam mechanism that can only be opened using a special key and input of steam pressure. Only one key exists and it is bounded to the Chosen one, the King/Queen. Bounded is a literal term as it is inserted in their arm deep under the skin and must be extracted to lock or unlock the door. If the key is ever lost and the door isn't opened for 1 year since lock than the mechanical auto lock system will take affect and seal the temple forever.
The main temple is the place of all worship and is north of the Heart. The temple is also home of the Supreme Zealot and the thrown of the chosen one. Many in the cult will make pilgrimage to this sacred place empowered by Zoion itself. Inside the Temple lies the tombs of all the former chosen ones and Supreme Zealots. The Temple is also covered in runes that depict prophecies and stories of the past; all of Kromkaries history is written upon this Temple. However, now there is a gap that must be filled.
The Heart of Zoion sits in the centre of the complex. It was constructed approx 1500 years ago starting off as a small room with a pipe system that would transport oil for heating and lighting. Throughout the ages it was developed into a larger cavern area sitting in the centre as the needs of the people grew. Approx 1400 years ago, a large metal brazier was mounted to the top of the heart and on the pillars surrounding it lighting up the cavern. These braziers now have holy significance in that they represent the light of Zoion. Approx 200 years ago the Heart was upgraded to a steam engine that would power the new electrical grid for the complex. This birth of power would lead to the making of tesla coils. Tesla coils have holy significance as they represent the power of Zoion and are usually mounted on top of temples, statues and of course the heart.
The treasury located west of the heart contains all treasures obtained by the cult. Gold, holy artefacts and skeletons of those lost in it all reside in this room. One item sits in the middle, this item is the crown. The crown kept chained down as it is made of arium and gold. The prophecy says that "The Chosen one to gain the power of imortality will be able to wear the crown and control the floatation properties of arium bringing a new age of Rule upon the land as Zoion returns to form his army lead by the Chosen one.
The Holy city is the ancient city of the Cult during its time in solitude under ground. It is kept in peak condition and routinely upgrade. It is located south of the heart and is the first cavern you will enter through the entrance. Before the Grey empire came, an expansion project was underway bringing the city into the modern era. A city sitting upon steel and a cavern large enough for airships.
The Guardians are people who have dedicated their lives to protecting the temple from intruders. These people once sworn too their roles must never leave the temple unless directly ordered by the Chosen one, and even then the distance they can travel from the temple is limited no matter what the chosen one says. They spend most of their day praying, conducting rituals or acting as statues at guard posts. Before the Grey Empire took over there were 1000s of them. Now there are only 1000s of bodies that withered away sealed underground. An effort to rebuild the Order is under way.
Zealots
Zealots are the caretakers of the Temple. Zealots deal with repairs, new constructions and help in the defence of the temple. They receive orders from the Supreme Zealot or the Chosen one only. Much like the Guardians they are unable to leave the temple once sworn in.
