Trilateral Business Forum

Duties of the Trilateral Business Forum :

1. Implementing standard model of taxation and trade for the importation and exportation of goods between member nations and associates.

2. Maintaining and updating the Galactic Calendar and maintaining regular checks and schedules for the Stellar Era system of dates and years.

3. Administrating the system of the Galactic Common Time (GCT) as a single agreed upon time and dates measurement system determined based upon the average number of processing cycles achieved by a series of 1khz processors installed on standardized devices. GCT operates on a 24-hour daytime schedule and corresponds roughly on accordance with Eastern Standard Time (EST/GMT-5)

Regulations :

1. At any moment, an object or commercial goods is exported from one member nation to another, both the buyer and seller will submit to a tax of 5% income tax rate that will be distributed evenly between all member nations [i.e Transit Tax].

2. Once the buyer and seller have paid their 5% income tax the traded goods may pass through any member nations without incurring further import/export tariffs or taxes. Nations whom already paid their transit tax cannot be taxed again by member nations for transporting their goods through their territory.

3. Nations may choose to spend up to half (2.5% of 5%) of their transit tax on the construction of new infrastructure leading to or from other member nations instead of paying the tax in monetary units/money. They still have to pay 2.5% of the tax if they decide to use infrastructure building to cover the other half.
