Following new legislation in The Nationstates Assembly, nothing happened.

A new poll ( page=poll/p=212038 ) has been created for Issue #153: Protesters Have Gone Too Far, Claim Police

I am rusty. That's even with copy and paste. Luny why did you add even more things for me to check and link together?

Ooh, new banners! I got three of them :D

Machinatia and Sanjay

Following new legislation in The Nationstates Assembly, playing an online nation simulation game legally obliges you to buy the creator's latest novel.

A new poll ( page=poll/p=212396 ) has been created for Issue #1423: A Slice of the Pi

Option 3 is unavailable to us as we banned sports at some point.

I hate to admit it, but I wasn't too excited by any of the issues we had for the last few days... I hope I'm not accidentally throwing out any well-liked ones.

The late april fools day event is interesting! I'm surprised they added kakuro to nationstates. Other than that it feels like a more creative crossover of several other events. I don't play any of the site minigames much, but it's still neat to see what they come up with.

Is anyone else excited for the eclipse? I know the weather has been dreary, so I'm a little nervous we might miss it. It's not even a week away now!

Phew, that was a nasty storm that blew through here in the us. We made it through ok.

Looks like it might be cloudy for the eclipse. I hope it's not too bad, I'm really looking forward to it. :(

Following new legislation in The Nationstates Assembly, blue sky thinkers are reminded that the firmament is actually more of a grey-ish colour.

A new poll ( page=poll/p=212510 ) has been created for Issue #264: Not a Drop to Drink

This nation has hit 2 billion population! :D

That's not the only milestone we're about to hit, either. :)

A little more than two weeks into this nation. Already becoming quite the bread basket, but I’m waiting for some issues that will let me start to industrialize. Not trying to fall victim to the resource curse.

It's a little easier to accomplish in nationstates than on Earth. You'll do just fine!

I know some issues are very hard to answer, and sometimes it just feels like there's no good choice. At least we have a dismiss button!

Although, since we started this region with the issue polls, I haven't been able to chose the dismiss option most of the time. There have been a lot of ties, and it looks like that will be the case this time, too.

Following new legislation in The Nationstates Assembly, fewer people are bathing as citizens must show ration stamps before they can turn on their faucets.

A new poll ( page=poll/p=212651 ) has been created for Issue #591: Bait and Switch

Option 3 is not available as it is a variant of option 2.

Any word from our good old map maker and their friend? I know it's been a few months. It's remarkably easy to lose track of time.

I suppose we achieved what we set out for - a quiet place for nations to leave from. Though, I admit I do sometimes miss the old activity, at least a little. Even if I can't make it on every day I admit it's nice to see another presence once in a while.

We're very near TNA's birthday. It's astonishing to think we haven't changed much in that time, and haven't been visited by militaries either. Do you think we'll be around for a whole other year? It hasn't felt like one, I'll say that much.

I'm surprised Luny didn't mention anything about the eclipse. It really was exciting. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the total eclipse, which I'm sure would have been spectacular. But at least we got a break in the weather here, so we could see it mostly undisturbed. I'm sure there will be more not too long from now. It won't be so close to home, but maybe that would make the trip even more worthwhile.

Following new legislation in The Nationstates Assembly, maximum security fish farms leave caged salmon pining for the fjords.

A new poll ( page=poll/p=212793 ) has been created for Issue #127: Aging Concerns in @@NAME@@.
We do not have option 5, which is reserved for nations that have banned immigration.

Are you able to endorse more than one nation, or is there some kind of limit?

Oh, hey, the site is back!

Sorry, the server died before I could say I would be away for a while. Glad to see most of the site is alright, though the amount that was lost is still a surprise to me.

I'll try to get a new issue up in a bit. :)

Tenile wrote:Are you able to endorse more than one nation, or is there some kind of limit?

Sorry about that! There is no limit, but while we don't like to ask others to endorse our delegate, Machinatia only has two endorsements at the moment, since it looks like a friend's nation ceased to exist. If you'd like to stay here, it might be best to not endorse others, since anyone with more endorsements becomes delegate. I don't think they would do anything drastic here, but the order is kind of nice.

On that note, I'd like to wish TNA a late happy birthday, and Machinatia a resounding year of being delegate uninterrupted!

A new poll ( page=poll/p=300389 ) has been created for issue #1522: Scry Babies.

I was going to look back at the polls after making this to see what option everyone chose, but the polls for the past year have all been sadly lost. I might post that one again after this one. I made this poll last four days so people have an extra day to notice we're back.

Unfortunately, all but the first three of our issues polls have been erased. That's basically all of our history gone. :(

We also lost our welcome telegram, but I have it saved, so that should be up and running again. Can't have new nations made here without one of those, can we!

How do I search for nation states regions?

New Osethia wrote:How do I search for nation states regions?

Sorry New Osethia, I had a lot of work to catch up on. There are a couple of ways to look for regions, but the main way I know about is by looking under your region's world factbook entry, where you can find "tired of life in -region-?", between "tags" and "add -region- to dossier?". For your convenience, and anyone else's, here is a link to the page where you can find a new region :)

"Many nations in The Nationstates Assembly have already abolished their most worthless coins."

that true? lol

I don't know actually. I know a lot of nations on the site in general have, but the site likes to lie as well.

Lunararchy wrote:On that note, I'd like to wish TNA a late happy birthday, and Machinatia a resounding year of being delegate uninterrupted!

I'm sorry I missed this. I'll be lying if I said I expected us to be operational for so long.

Lunararchy wrote:Machinatia only has two endorsements at the moment, since it looks like a friend's nation ceased to exist.

Looks like another one is about to, unless they're in vacation mode. I can at least reach out to Cloudy Kingdom, but I'm not sure where IRTAE might reside outside of the region. I just searched and endorsed someone new, too... but it looks like I'll have to withdraw my endorsements for the first time.

Lunararchy wrote:On that note, I'd like to wish TNA a late happy birthday, and Machinatia a resounding year of being delegate uninterrupted!

Sorry I missed this. It's hard to believe it's been that long already. Not that I was paying much attention to this region or nation in most of that time.

Lunararchy wrote:Unfortunately, all but the first three of our issues polls have been erased. That's basically all of our history gone. :(

I thought you were exaggerating. We only had three left... that is quite the rollback. I'm impressed it didn't take those out with it.

At least we still have the issue history in the RMB thanks to you. It would have been nice to have a record of the actual voter base, but I'm sure most regions were hit a lot harder. Although I'm sure most of them document their important polls somewhere else.

I unendorsed everyone. Sorry to have to do that, but it's about the only way to ensure I have the bare minimum needed to remain delegate. I'm not too concerned about losing it, but it does avoid a bit of a headache.

Such is the way of "running" a region designed to be left.
