Chancellor Walter Traeger, today, took the step of calling upon the National Assembly to repeal a 150-year-old law that legalized slavery within the Reich. Despite mild opposition, the repeal came shortly after midnight. Traeger signed the Act and immediately emancipated all enslaved people held within the Ruhr. Therefore, I am hereby invoking Article III, Section 1 of the Constitution, “The Founder shall, in times of need, invoke “Supreme Privilege” to take any action necessary to serve the needs and interests of Tarkin.”
Accordingly, my invocation of Supreme Privilege is to suspend the rules and dispense of the Term and Elections Act to install officeholders as were elected for Term I to serve in Term II. All appointed positions are not expressly reappointed and are thus open until filled pursuant to Tarkin Canon Law.
The scope of Privilege is limited to the terms herein and shall take effect immediately.
