The Dominion of Erehmia is a huge, orderly nation, remarkable for its frequent executions, enslaved workforce, and keen interest in outer space. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical, humorless population of 203 million slaves are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

The relatively small, corrupt, moralistic, well-organized government is primarily concerned with Defense, although Law & Order, Industry, and Healthcare are also considered important, while Social Policy and International Aid are ignored. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 8.9%.

The all-consuming slave economy, worth 21.8 trillion Kantrian Crowns a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Uranium Mining, Gambling, and Basket Weaving. Average income is an impressive 107,438 Kantrian Crowns, with the richest citizens earning 6.8 times as much as the poorest.

Children of nonreligious parents are often barred from school festival events, government popup ads are springing up like weeds, slaves incessantly needle their doctors for relief, and possession of tomato seeds with intent to garden is a criminal offence. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force. Erehmia's national animal is the Erehmian Monkey, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

Erehmia is ranked 184,535th in the world and 177th in Kantrias for Safest, scoring 51.91 on the Bubble-Rapp Safety Rating.
